experienced photographers say
So I stand at a distance
move closer
back off
move closer
sidestep to the right
then the left
like someone doing a country line dance
I crouch half way
then take the position of a toad
maybe a snake’s eye view will do the trick
Looking for that ‘thing’
that no one else has seen

I do this too….see something that grabs me and take a few shots and then move around it looking for another perspective.
I had to smile, Maery, finding myself to be the toad as well as the snake at times, participating in the dance and working hard while trying to see that spectacular something. Funny thing, that photographing… 🙂
