Kennel Chaos – Part 2
The kennel saga continues. Finally got the chain link fence laid out flat. It was a tangled mess.

My brain is so full that it’s hard to sort through it all and write a blog post. Usually, around the first of the year, I take some time to reflect on the previous year and ponder what I might want to do differently in the future. It’s not so much a time of making…
I did a very bad thing or a very good thing, depending on how you look at it. Anyway, I got a puppy. I have no idea what she is, and it’s a little disconcerting to not know at all what I am dealing with, but you all know what a risk taker I am….
I do need to take more photos of Luke lest you think I’ve forgotten him or something. There certainly hasn’t been much trail riding but the weather is starting to get better so perhaps September will be the month for that. The bugs are awful bad right now though. I’ve been trying out fly leg…
An uneventful Valentine’s Day, which was part of the problem. A tough day not to think about lost love.“Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye old friendI can’t make you stayI can’t spend another ten yearsWishing you would anywayHow the sky turns to fire against a telephone wireAnd even I’m getting tired of useless desires” Java and I went…
Thanks to everyone for your suggestions on crates and kennels. I went looking at Fleet Farm and the crates are about the same price as the kennels. I guess you are paying for having something inside and being able to fold it down and take it with you. However, the kennels are bigger, of course,…
Okay. I’ve been rewriting this blog post all week because it keeps sounding too negative and depressing. I think a lot of what I’m thinking and feeling comes from aging and feeling all the possibilities move out of reach in so many areas of my life. It’s hardest at work, where most people are younger…

Oh no! That is terrible! I am sure they will open a new box and just replace the chain link. But still, to have to go through all that and find out the chain link is defective!
That is a beautiful sunset!
It was a beautiful sunset – good job focusing on the positive!
I can imagine your frustration, finally laying out the fence to see the defects. I sure hope that the vendor lets you keep the frame together and replaces only the fence!
What a pain in the BUTTTTT! All you are trying to do is a good deed for Java! Call the company and tell them to deliver you a new one…and have them assemble it.
Nice sunset.
What a dissapointment..and you were doing so good too. Call Farm Fleet first before you take it apart..or go in and take the photographs with you. It will all work out. Yup you need a tribe..:)
Oh my Lord…the thing was designed for escape!!!!!!!!! Who knew!
I just hate it when things don’t work out when they seem so clear originally.
Darn…darn…darn (kicking under desk with toe)
Well, the bad piece of fencing has been returned and replaced with a new roll. I haven’t unrolled it yet but I’m remaining optimistic, well, trying anyway.
Good luck with the new roll of fencing – hope it doesn’t have any weird defects or crop circles or anything in it!
Did it work…did it work!? OH Java…you must be contained.
